RT stands for Road and Track. The RT was introduced by Cadillac back in 1956, but it didn't become an official performance model until 1968 (it only became a line of pre-production vehicles). The RT was discontinued in 2002 and replaced by the CTS-V series.

As far as speed goes, both cars have the same top speed limit of 250 km/h (155 mph). Additionally, both vehicles can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, especially in an average test drive.
Both models come with comfortable and luxurious interiors, but their suspensions were designed to be driven on a race track!
